Some women who breathed high levels of benzene for many months had irregular menstrual periods and a decrease in the size of their ovaries. It is not known whether benzene exposure affects the developing fetus in pregnant women or fertility in men. Animal studies have shown low birth weights, delayed bone formation, and bone marrow damage when pregnant animals breathed benzene.

my husband is an electrician working for a major oil distributing company in alaska.He went to doctor yesterday with trouble breathing and very sore throat feels horrid and they sent off blood tests.no infections were found heart rate good other men on job have had severe headaches.it will take 10 days to get test results and i am worried about him going back to work.What can he do to protect himself.
